Its the last week of the spring semester. This time of year always seems like there is so much to do with so little time. The last week of the semester is what I call the procrastonator’s only busy week of the year. You have finals coming, the obvious abominable monster, then you have move out day from your dorm or apartment, trying to decide what day you leave and how your transporting your life that you seemed to fit into a couple boxes back home. Then there’s the biggest decision of all looming right over your head. What’s next? This question is different for underclassmen because unless they are transferring schools you know you’ll be be right back where you are now in August. But for people graduating, at a 2 year or 4 year school, the sophmores and seniors have a big decision to make. Where they will finish the next two years of school or where will they be working after graduation. Im a student athlete so for me its not just where will I be continuing my education but where will I be playing basketball as well. Or do I even want to continue playing basketball? A lot of decisions to be made during the final stretch. It is very easy to become overwhelmed. One thing that helps is prioritizing. Making a list or mini calendar. Outline everything coming up that you have to do. Assignments, exams, study regimen, etc and you can kind of stay on top it or at least maintain some basis of organization instead of getting lost in all of the chaos during the final stretch. Attached below is a video with tips for college students that helps a lot. Good luck and Godspeed!
